Meet Dillon

Hi! My name is Dillon Galloway. I recently graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism -Sports Media and Communication. During my time at UNL, I served as an Assistant Photographer for Husker Athletics for four years, gaining extensive experience shooting at high-profile venues including Memorial Stadium and Devaney Center while developing creative approaches to sports photography.

I'm proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro, with hands-on experience using Canon, Sony, and Nikon camera systems in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

Beyond athletics, I collaborated with UNL's journalism program on the "Being Black in Lincoln Research Project," creating 12 multimedia profile stories on prominent Black leaders in the Lincoln community. This work was published in the Lincoln Journal Star and strengthened my skills in visual storytelling and community-focused journalism.

My diverse portfolio includes coverage of Nebraska Volleyball Day, collegiate sports, Nebraska State Basketball and various campus and community events, demonstrating my versatility across different sports and event settings.
